Ocean Poetry

Invite your group to create a Blue Haiku, or a piece of poetry, or compose some music to celebrate our coastlines and ocean.

If you can take your group to visit the coast to inspire them – great… and if not find film footage and images of their local coastline.

Encourage the group to include not only the seas and sand, but also the flora, fauna, seabirds and marine mammals.  Invite them to bring in the emotion and energy of the coast and ocean within their writing.
